摘  要在全国经济迅速发展，城市化进程不断加快的背景下，农村空心化问题也日益严重。东部和南部的空心化特征尤为显著。随着劳动力的大量外流，留守老人、留守儿童、旧宅基地空置、新宅基地占用耕地等现象层出不穷。但是相比之下，西北农村空心化的进程却较为缓慢，空心化特点与东部南部有较大差别，务工大多是短距离当日往返的形式，农业战略支援所占比例大。这样的特点决定了西北农村空心化进程中更少社会问题的出现。本文以甘肃省高台县小坝村为例，论述西北地区的农村空心化，是一个理性的、健康的空心化进程。69216

An analysis on the characteristics of rural hollow in the northwest region 

——Based on Xiaoba village in Gansu province

Abstract

Under the background of the rapid development of the national economy, the process of urbanization is accelerating, the problem of rural hollow becomes increasingly serious. The hollow of the east and south is particularly significant. With the massive outflow of labor, the phenomena of left-behind elderly and children, old homestead vacant, new homestead occupies arable land emerge in endlessly. In contrast, the process of rural hollow in Northwest is relatively slow, the characteristics of hollow are quite different from the east and south. Migrant workers are mostly in the form of short-distance day trips. Agricultural strategic support takes up large proportion. Such characteristics determine less social problems appear in the process of rural hollow in Northwest. In this paper, the author takes Xiaoba village in Gaotai county in Gansu province as an example, discusses the rural hollow in the northwest region is a rational and healthy hollow process.
