摘要近年来，我国对外开放步伐不断加深，学生的英语教学也逐渐普及，找到一种高效 的学习方法，对于学生提高英语成绩和英文交流水平有重要的作用。随着智能手机的逐 渐普及，人们花在各种电子移动设备上阅读、浏览信息的时间更多，因此在智能手机上 开发一款可以用来学习英语的应用程序，让人们利用生活中零碎的时间学习更多的知识， 具有很广阔的应用前景。Android 操作系统以其特有的开源模式，在移动平台操作系统中 占据了较大的份额。本文介绍的是一款基于 Android 平台的英语单词学习软件，具有学 习、复习、测试、查询等主流英语学习软件应有的功能。此外，本文还将对 Android 应 用的开发环境及开发背景、开发工具、开发知识进行一定的介绍。 78513

Title A design of an English words learning application on Android platform                                 

Abstract With the deepening of China's reform and opening policy, English teaching is becoming more common among students。 Finding an efficient method for learning English plays a vital role in improving students’ English scores and their communication skills。 In the recent years, smartphones become popular among people, including students。 They spend more time reading and getting information on their phones。 Thus, we can develop an app for English learning, which has a broad prospect for application, and enable people getting more knowledge at their spare time。 With an open-source mode, Android OS occupies a large share in portable device market。 This paper introduces an app for English words learning based on Android platform, which has basic functions of learning, reviewing, testing and searching words。 The background, tools and methods for Android developing will also be mentioned in this paper。
