Title Finite Element Analysis and Orthogonal Optimization of Deep Drawing of Taper Square Cups
Abstract
With the developing of cars and airplanes in our country, deep drawing from metal blanks has become increasingly important, and the analysis of blank forming has become increasingly urgent. Plenty of studies have been done in some kinds of simple cups.
The deep drawing process of the taper square cups is selected as the object of study. Firstly, the finite element model is established by PRO/E. Secondly, the deep drawing process is analyzed by finite element simulation with Dynaform. After that, different box tapers, mold parameters, blank thickness and the blank holder force in this process are explored. After all, a more reasonable combination of parameters is found by orthogonal method,which provides assistance for the production.
