摘要近几十年,随着微波和毫米波电路的迅猛发展,当前微波电路与系统正向高性能、低成本、高集成和小型化方向快速发展,系统中需要的高Q无源元件,如滤波器、谐振器和双工器等却在微波单片内难以实现,传统的用于设计微波无源器件的电路结构(如金属矩形波导、微带线等),已经不能完全适应现代无线通信对微波元器件小型化、集成化的要求。于是发展起了介质集成波导技术。
基片集成波导(SIW)是一类新型波导,能和有源集成电路集成在同一块基片上,其优点有很多,如体积小、重量轻、品质因数高、可承受功率大、加工成本低、便于现代微波集成电路(MIC)以及单片微波集成电路的集成和封装等,因而被广泛应用于滤波器、天线、振荡器等微波平面电路中。
本论文研究重点为基片集成波导的毫米波带通滤波器,工作频率为10GHz,相对带宽分别为0.1和0.2。通过对基片上表面金属进行蚀刻,产生三个耦合谐振腔,利用电耦合而非传统的磁耦合孔实现带通滤波器。本文将讨论电路的品质因数Q和耦合系数K的计算,并由品质因数Q和耦合系数K决定电路和元件的尺寸。利用HFSS软件设计电路并仿真,实现传输与反射特性较好的紧凑型SIW滤波器。21689

Title Design of Integrated SIW Filter
Abstract
With the fast development in the microwave and millimeter wave circuits during recent decades, the nowadays microwave circuits and systems are heading to a higher function, lower cost ,higher integration and smaller size. The high Q passive elements needed in the microwave system, such as filters, resonators and duplexers are hard to realize in microwave monolithic. The traditional structures such as metal rectangle filter and microstrip line that are used in designing microwave passive elements, can hardly adapt to today’s wireless communication which needs miniaturization and integration. That is the reason for Substrate Integrated Waveguide (SIW) getting used widely.
The SIW is a new kind waveguide. It can be integrated in the same substrate with a active integrated circuit on it. The SIW has many advantages such as small volume and weight, high Q values, high tolerance of power, low fabrication cost and is easy to be integrated and packaged in the technology of MIC(microwave integrated circuits) and MMIC(monolithic microwave integrated circuits). And this is why the SIW is widely used in filters, antennas ,resonators microwave planar circuits.
The research is focused on a millimeter-wave bandpass filter using SIW. The working frequency is 10GHz, and FBW is 0.1 and 0.2 respectively. Three resonators are formed by etching the top metal plane of the SIW cavity. The filter is investigated with the theory of electric coupling mechanism instead of the traditional magnetic coupling mechanism. The calculation of Q value and coupling coefficient K will be discussed in the paper. The extracted Q and K will decided the dimensions of circuits and elements. Design the circuit and simulate the structure by using HFSS. Compact SIW filters with good transmission and reflesction characteristics can be achieved.
