摘要我们介绍了激光的发展状况,部分相干光的基础知识以及光场的矢量特性和关联特性, 并且详细解释了互相干函数、交叉谱密度和相干偏振统一理论。然后我们通过设计一个 径向偏振光束的相关结构得到一个在远场处对称的径向或矩形的可调节径向偏振阵列光 束。我们得到了能实现这种光源的条件和用这种光源激发辐射的光束条件。基于部分相 干光基础理论,运用 ABCD 张量方法,我们得到径向偏振阵列光束的初始场和焦平面上 的偏振和相干特性,并在不同的相干长度下进行对比。此外,还详细探讨相干性对聚焦 光谱偏振度和偏振态影响。我们的工作可能在自由光通信以及光学成像方面有重要应用。77272

Title Generation of radially polarized array beams by modulating the correlation structure
Abstract We introduce the development of laser, the basic knowledge of partial coherent beams, the vector properties and coherence properties of beams。 Moreover, we explain in detail the mutual coherence function, cross spectral density and unified theory for partially coherent and partially polarized beam。 By designing a correlation structure of a source radially polarized beam, we derive a tunable radially polarized array beam with radial or rectangular symmetry in the far field。 The realizability conditions for such source and the beam conditions for radiation generated by such source are established。 Based on the partially coherent and partially polarized unified theory, we obtain the coherence statistics in the source plane and the focal plane of a partially coherent radially polarized array beam as well as that under different values of coherent width。 Furthermore, the effects of coherence on the spectral degree of polarization and the state of polarization have been studied in detail。 Our study may be of importance for free space optical communications and the optical imaging。
