Three methods are used in this paper, model test method, simplified analytical method and numerical simulation to research the collision performance of T-joints。 The main work includes:
1。 The drop tests of T - joints have been conducted。 The impact force, impact process and deformation conditions acquired from experiments have been analyzed and discussed。 The rules showing the influence of and impact height on structural dynamic response have been acquired。
2。 Based on drop tests of T-joints, correlative simulation analysis has been developed。 Compared with calculation results and experimental data, numerical simulation analysis technology has been improved and confirmed。 Based on the results form numerical calculations, the structural deformation mechanism in typical moments has ben analyzed。 The influences of impact velocity and impact mass on collision responses of T-joints have been discussed。
3。 Based on the injury of model test specimens, the deformation modes of T-joints have been proposed。 And based on the theory of plasticity, the analytical formula of energy dissipation have been derived using analytical methods。 Compared with analytical results and numerical results, analytical calculation has been confirmed。
