Probe into the Development of College Newspapers in the New Media Environment
Abstract: with the perfection of the construction of campus culture and College newspaper has become the general trend, school newspaper, to a large extent, enrich the cultural life of students, to help understand the dynamics of the school and learn a lot.But in contemporary popular new media, college newspapers are facing dilemma of declining newspaper quality, loss of readers.This paper aims at combining typical cases of College newspaper, focuses on the analysis of school newspapers in colleges and universities under the environment of new media advantages and disadvantages, and actively explore the optimal strategies for the development of school newspapers in colleges and universities, effective absorption of campus culture information to guide students while saving resources to the maximum extent, improve the student newspaper, the waste of resources to guide students to read.

新媒体环境下高校校报发展探析——以《周口师院报》为例
a进入21世纪以来，随着新兴媒体迅速崛起，传统媒体生存空间受到挤压，在此情形下，高校媒体中占据主导地位的高校校报发展同样受到来自新媒体的冲击。作为高校政机关的喉舌，它是高校校园内站主导地位的媒体，是高校校园宣传政策和引导舆论的工具，是高校对外树立良好形象、对内沟通师生的窗口，是连结校友、传播高校文化的有效手段。与此同时，舆论引导、人才培养、弘扬品德、传播信息、和谐和繁荣校园文化也是新时期高校校报发展的目标。
一、新媒体环境下高校校报发展概述
高校校报在新闻出版事业的推动下产生，历经一百多年的历程，从诞生到繁荣都离不开社会媒体的大环境影响，二十一世纪新媒体的壮大更与高校校报的命运息息相关。
（一）新媒体概述
新媒体作为一种新的媒体形式，是在新的媒体支撑下出现的，主要包括手机短信、数字广播、数字电视、数字电影、触摸媒体等。相对于报纸、广播、电视、杂志四大传统意义上的媒体，新媒体被形象的称为“第五媒体”。
