     We all know that the eyes are the windows of our mind。 Sometimes we turn a blind eye to some certain events or someone pull the wool over others’ eyes, etc。 These sayings are related to eyes。 Eyes play a significant part in body language。 Eye contact is always regarded as the most significant in interpersonal communication。 We can show love, hate, insult, anger (looking down upon others) to the communicative fellows。 (Jin 98) Eyes have a fantastic charm for us。 Eye contact is an unavoidable aspect of body language。 We can see some rules of it, for example, to look or not to look; when to look and how long to look; to feast your eyes or talk just a pep。 In China, no matter whether he is junior or senior to you, to look at him or she is a sign of showing respect。 It’s not always necessary to look at him or her all the time when having communication。 And as is known to all that he best way is to look at him or her as naturally as he or she looks at you。 There is another situation, when you are speaking in public, it is reasonable for you to look at your audiences continually。 (
