Although the school provides perfect teaching levels and enough events for the students to inherit traditional cultures, there are still some problems that are exposed during the process of the investigation. What follows in the paper will describe the problems in detail.
2.2.2 Subjects and Interview Questions
The subjects of the empirical investigation are 80 primary school students from grade one to grade six, as well as some of their parents (with the number of 30), selected at random in Nanjing Confucius Temple Primary School. The investigation is carried out by face-to-face interview. The interview questions vary from students’ understanding towards the school motto, Confucius, and Chinese traditional culture, to the parents’ views on home education of traditional cultures, in addition, study schedule of primary school students and tutorial class conditions are also mentioned in the interview (for details see Appendix B).
