2 Literature review

2.1 Definition of the second classroom

Boaz Shulruf (2011) proposes: as part of students' school day, students participate in a wide variety of activities, over and above the core curricular teaching and learning classroom work, which are usually referred to as co-curricular or extra-curricular activities, also called the second classroom. It includes activities that don’t be required in the teaching syllabus and schedules.
