Abstract Task-based Language Teaching(TBLT) is recommended as an effective teaching approach for primary and secondary schools in “English Course Guidelines” issued by Ministry Education in 2001。 Because the ultimate goal of learning English is to communicate with others。 In class, it calls for teachers to carry out persified teaching methods and improve the way of teaching。 Different from traditional teaching method, task-based teaching method is to set a task and let the students learn the language while accomplishing the task。 It is a student-centered and task-focused teaching method。 Therefore, it has been widely used and advocated in schools in recent years。75656
This thesis, from theory and practice, research into what TBLT is, how to design task reasonably in class and how to use the Task-based Teaching Method to improve students’ learning motivation。 And the changes of the teachers’ and the students’ role in the task-based teaching class are analyzed。 At the end of the thesis, an application example of TBLT in class is cited to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the task-based teaching method。 Then the benefits and defects of applying TBLT in China is discussed and some suggestions are given in the end。

摘要2001年教育部颁布的“英语课表指南”指出任务型语言教学(TBLT)是中小学有效的教学方法。因为学习英语的最终目的是交流。所以在课堂上,它要求教师实施多元化的教学方法,拓宽教学方式。不同于传统的教学方法,任务型教学法是设定一个任务,学生在完成任务的过程中习得语言,是一种以学生为中心,设置各种任务的教学方法。因此,近年来,在学校中得到广泛的应用和提倡。
本文从理论和实践两个方面论述什么是任务型语言教法,如何在课堂上合理地设置任务以及如何使用任务型教学法来提高学生的学习动机。同时,也会分析教师和学习者在任务型课堂中的角色转变,在论文的最后,引用课堂中的实例来进一步研究任务型教学法在初中英语教学中运用的可行性及有效性,并且分析在中国应用任务型教学的优点和存在缺点以及给出一些想法建议。

The basic four skills, including listening, speaking, reading and writing, not only play active roles in linguistic performance but also are the basic methods to understand the world, the important means of access to information and even the significant ways to develop integrating skills。 At present, the effect of all-round development of middle school students is not satisfactory。 Most students, after learning English for many years still can not effectively master the four skills, particularly speaking and listening。 Some are even afraid of learning English。 In order to stimulate students' interest in learning English, develop their language skills, and develop their intercultural communicative competence, we start to advocate TBLT。 As an effective teaching method, TBLT has a great effect on language teaching。 It embodies the idea of "taking students as the main body, taking the task as the center and activity as the way"。 It can help students to study independently, improve students' ability of using language to communicate and enhance students' learning interest and confidence。 It is the concrete embodiment of quality education in English teaching。 Therefore, the research and discussion of the application of task-based teaching method in junior middle school English classroom are of great significance。论文网
