摘 要旅游公示语在各地景区被视为“无声的导游”,也是各景区的门面。近年来,旅游景区的公示语汉英翻译研究引起了学者越来越多的注意。通过定量研究方法,本文主要分析了我国地方名胜古迹旅游公示语的汉英翻译。同时运用定性研究法来分析汉英翻译中出现的各种错误。研究结果表明,大部分翻译错误源自语言学范畴,也有一些由于译者自己不负责任导致的错误。基于对文中所列举的例子的错误分析,以主要的汉英翻译原则为指导,作者提出了关于汉英旅游公示语翻译的策略和建议。通过本文研究和分析,作者希望能为地方名胜古迹的旅游公示语汉英翻译研究提供一点启示。84031

Abstract Tourist signs are viewed as the “voiceless guide” in the scenic spots, and the face of the scenic spots。 In recent years, the study of C-E translation of tourist signs in scenic spots has attracted increasing attentions from researchers。 This paper will focus on analyzing the C-E translations in public signs from scenic spots and historic sites by adopting the methodology of a quantitative study and then a qualitative study on the error analysis。 Results show that the common errors are mostly linguistic mistakes together with some mistakes made by irresponsibility of the translators。 Based on these existing errors, the writer proposes some strategies and suggestions for the C-E translation of tourist signs according to the main principles of C-E translation。 Hopefully this paper could provide some insights to the translation of tourist signs from scenic spots and historic sites translation。

I。 Introduction 

In recent years, China has made huge progress in economy and power, and China is also accelerating the pace of globalization。 At the same time, China has been a must-visit country for a large number of foreign visitors。 As a newly booming industry, tourism is so significant in China’s economy。 Because of the deeply rooted culture, more than 5000-year history, together with abundant human and natural resources, China starts to pay more attention to developing tourism industry。 Until now, China has ranked ahead at the world’s position。 As a result, a great number of people come to China and more national events are held in China, for instance, Shanghai World Exposition and the Olympic Games。 China is playing a highly active role in the center of the world。 论文网
