景观设计中的灯光设计的基本功能是服务于人类的生产、生活和娱乐、休息；其次是装饰功能，是要创造一个使人愉悦的理想环境。本文主要从景观设计中的灯光设计的发展阶段、存在的问题、灯光设计的原则方法等方面结合实际案例民国中央密码局旧址景观改造进行论述。不仅使其利于市民活动，有利健康和增强美感，而且从空间、色调和层次上要使之与环境造型要求和风格相一致。
