摘要选用具有超细高活性氢氧化镁为载体的有机硅系阻燃剂(FRX-210),制备了无卤阻燃聚对苯二甲酸丁二醇酯(PBT),并采用氧指数仪和锥型量热仪研究了FRX210及其与磷酸硼(BP)复配对PBT的阻燃作用。结果表明,添加阻燃剂可显著提高PBT的极限氧指数(LOI),添加30%FRX210使PBT的LOI从22.1%提高到27.5%。将FRX210与BP复配添加可使PBT的LOI进一步提高,同时添加20%FRX210和10%BP使PBT的LOI达到36.0%。阻燃剂使PBT热降解速率降低并提高了残炭量。添加阻燃剂使PBT的火灾性能指数,火灾增长指数降低同时降低了燃烧过程中烟释放速率、热释放速率峰值,提高了PBT的阻燃性能。 71274
FRX210及其与BP复配阻燃剂改变了PBT内部架构,影响了拉伸强度、弯曲强度和冲击强度,对PBT的冲击强度影响最大,添加阻燃剂使PBT的冲击强度显著降低。
Abstract Selection of superfine high activity magnesium hydroxide as a carrier of special silicone-based flame retardant (FRX-210), was prepared halogen-free flame retardant polybutylene terephthalate (PBT). Additionally, using oxygen index analyzer and cone calorimeter investigated the flame retardant effect on PBT when added FRX 210 and boron phosphate (BP) complex . The results showed that, FRX210 can significantly increase the limiting oxygen index (LOI) of PBT, adding 30% FRX210 can increase the LOI of PPT from 22.1% to 27.5%, and adding 20% FRX 210 and 10% BP help the PPT LOI reached 36.0%. By using FRX210, thermal degradation rate of PBT reduces and increases the amount of carbon residue. the addition of FRX210 improves fire performance index, reduces peak heat release rate and smoke release rate during combustion, so as to improves the flame retardancy of PBT‘.
FRX 210 and the BP complex flame retardant decreases PBT tensile strength and flexural strength slightly, and have the greatest impact on impact strength. Adding FRX 210, will significantly reduce impact strength of PBT.
