摘要:当前我国保险业处在高速发展时期,保险业主体持续增多,此中以中小型保险公司占多数。中小保险公司作为我国保险业的一个重要组成部分,在社会经济中发挥着日益重要的作用。伴随着WTO后中国保险市场逐步开放,越来越多的外国保险公司进入内地市场,使得我国中小型保险公司在受到国内大型保险公司市场挤压的同时,还面临着外资保险公司的巨大挑战。然而保险公司之间的竞争归根结底就是保险公司竞争力的竞争。在此背景下,为了突破困境取得更好更快的发展,提高中小保险公司竞争力成为其在新发展时期的关键,也是本文所要讨论的重要问题。
首先,本文在对中小保险公司发展状况进行概述的基础上,以SWOT分析法为指导,对我国中小型保险公司竞争力的内部优、劣势和外部环境因素进行了系统分析,从中发现不足,找出原因,继而提出提高我国中小型保险公司竞争力的对策。29398

Abstract: China's insurance industry is currently in a period of rapid development, the insurance owner body continued to increase, of which the majority of small and medium insurance companies. Insurance Companies as an important part of China's insurance industry in the social economy plays an increasingly important role. With the WTO after China's insurance market is gradually opening up, more and more foreign insurance companies to enter the mainland market, makes our small and medium sized insurance companies at the same time by pressing the large domestic market, insurance companies, but also faces enormous challenges of foreign insurance companies. But competition among insurers in the final analysis is the competition of the insurance company's competitiveness. In this context, in order to overcome difficulties to achieve better and faster development, improve the competitiveness of small and medium insurance companies become the key in the new period of development, it is an important issue to be discussed in this article.
Based on the development of small and medium insurance companies overview on the SWOT analysis as a guide to the competitiveness of small and medium sized insurance company's internal advantages and disadvantages, and external environmental factors of the system analysis, which found insufficient to find out why and then proposed to increase the competitiveness of small and medium sized insurance companies countermeasures.

要了解中小型保险公司的竞争力问题首先应当从对其的基本界定入手。而一直以来,关于中小型保险公司的界定都是模糊而不明确的。本文采取祝向军教授提出的:以8%的市场份额作为界定我国保险公司“中小型”和“大型”的量化标准。
