The Design and Implementation of Student Information Management System Based on Three Layer Architecture
Abstract：This article introduced the student information management system development entire process, in detail elaborated the system analysis, database design, system detailed design and system test of the whole process. The system is based on three layer architecture design, using Visual Studio 2008 as a development tool and SQL Server 2008 database management system development, including the main functions : information management students, teachers information management, class management, curriculum management, performance management, faculty and professional management modules, can be completed daily student information and other information add, modify, delete, query function.

引言
随着计算机技术的进步和人们对系统需求的进一步提高，学校对于学生信息管理也相应提升。学校对于学生信息管理主要侧重于数据的更新快捷、准确，占用较少的人力资源，而达到最大的办公效率。学生信息管理系统就是为了解决目前学校存在的这些问题而设计的。系统完成后可用于学校管理学生信息，能够实现对学生信息、教师信息、课程信息、院系信息等信息的添加、查询、修改、删除功能。
1 课题研究现状及意义
1.1 课题研究现状
学生信息管理系统是一个教育单位不可缺少的部分，它的内容对于学校的决策者和管理者来说都至关重要，所以学生信息管理系统应该能够为用户提供充足的信息和快捷的查询手段，但一直以来人们使用传统人工的方式管理文件档案，这种管理方式存在着许多缺点，如：效率低、保密性差。另外，时间一长，将产生大量的文件和数据，这对查询、更新和文护都带来了不少困难。
1.2 研究意义
作为计算机应用的一部分，使用计算机对学校的各类信息进行管理，具有手工管理所无法比拟的优点。例如：检索迅速、查询方便、可靠性好、存储量大、保密性好、成本低等。这些优点能够极大地提高学校信息管理的效率，也是一个单位科学化、正规化管理，与世界接轨的重要条件。为此，用计算机来管理学校的学生信息，是非常必要的。
