1。 Introduction

1。1 Research Background

The financial crisis in 2007-2008, which is considered by many economists to have been the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression in the 1930s, has threatened the whole economic system, from the stock markets to housing prices and from collapse of the enterprises to prolonged unemployment, contributing to the Great Recession and the European sovereign-debt crisis in the next few years。 Confronted with such circumstance, the international cooperation was in urgent need, and the members of G20 gathered in the first international forum in 2009 for global economic cooperation, which was called G20 summit。 

Though great efforts have been exerted, the world economic situation is not optimistic。 World gross product is projected to expand by just 2。4 percent in 2016 , the same weak rate as in 2015, which reflects a downward growth of many countries, including China, whose growth rate had met a slump to 6。9 percent in 2015 。 Besides, the currency devaluation, shrinking trade, housing bubble, attack of the advanced technology, etc。, all seem to make the circumstance even grimmer。 China seems to have been trapped into a dilemma! Despite this, the prospect of China’s development is still worthy of expectation。 The Chinese government is resolved to make every effort and hold every opportunity to get a promotion, leading the people into a more comfortable life and collaborating with the international power for future peace and development of the mankind based on the common interests。 论文网

B20, the full name of which is International Business Summit, is an international summit meeting of delegates from business groups of the countries in G20。 Established in 2010, it shows its significance in providing suggestions on economic policies for G20 summit, for purpose of facilitating the global economy sustainably。 The first B20 summit was held in Toronto in 2010, bringing the Canadians great honour and reputation。 

2016 is another uplifting year for the Chinese, when China has successfully held the two summit meetings in its historical city Hangzhou。 The six topics of B20 summit are finance stimulating growth, trade investment, infrastructure establishment, development of small and medium-sized enterprises, employment, and anti-corruption。 

In view of those issues, , chairman of China, delivered a speech at the ceremony of the B20 summit on behalf of the government and people, concluding China’s achievements in the past, conveying a hopeful prospect for future and appealing to the global society to take actions together to maintain a stable and harmonious international environment and improve the world economic governance。 The study of this speech under the framework of appraisal can be significant and meaningful。 The importance and the meaning of the research are presented as follows。
