摘  要：好莱坞既是美国许多著名电影公司的设立地也是世界闻名的电影中心。作为早期进入好莱坞的中国明星，李连杰在电影中扮演的不同角色往往向海外展现出不同时期的中国形象。研究李连杰在好莱坞电影中的中国形象对于中国文化的传播，以及理解电影的文化内涵意义重大。论文对这一领域的研究作了分析，在参考相关文献的基础上，收集李连杰的好莱坞电影，并逐一观看，讨论分析李连杰扮演的角色所传达的形象的变化。研究表明，美国好莱坞在影视作品中对中国人物形象的改变实际上反映了美国对中国态度的改变，是中国取得进步而带来的结果。

Abstract：Hollywood is both the establishment of many famous movie companies of the United States and the famous film center of world. As Jet Li is a star who entered into Hollywood in the early stage of his career, and the roles Jet Li played in Hollywood movies often portray different images of China in different periods. It is important to study the Chinese image in Jet Li’s Hollywood movies, and then study the spread of Chinese culture, which is of great significance to the understanding of the cultural meaning of the film. A brief account of previous investigations in this field was given after collecting and analysing a large amount of data and relevant literature. On the basis the author viewed Jet Li’s Hollywood movies and analyze the images of China shown in the movies. Researches show that the change in the shape of Chinese images shown in Jet Li’s Hollywood movies reflected in reality, that American’s attitude to word China has changed, which was the result of China's progress.

On the Overseas Spread of Chinese Image from the Perspective of Jet Li’s Hollywood Movies

I. Introduction

Many countries have long realized that it is important to make use of film, television and other media to spread their country’s image throughout the word. From the perspective of communication, national government grasp the propaganda way in the domestic not only can effectively pursue implementation of the policy, but also an important means to achieve national unity of thinking. As the most important movie production base of American, Hollywood is also a core for the American government to promote the image of other countries to the United States citizens. Hollywood films play an important role in the history of world cinema. In just one hundred years of film history, it has been leading the trend of the development of world cinema, and ushered in the thriving development prospects. Real life is presented in films through illusionary means like a dream artistic conception in the Hollywood movies, which is also the infinite reverie of the other image.
