本文尝试从奈达功能对等理论的角度对政治辞令的翻译进行描述和探讨。以政府工作报告和政府新闻发布会两种不同的政治文体为例，试图从等效理论的角度有效地解决政治辞令的翻译中遇到的问题。

本文从介绍研究的对象以及方法等内容出发，全面介绍等效理论，首先介绍了政治辞令的内容和分类，对政府工作报告和外交发布会的功能和文体特点作了详细分析。然后，在对其文本特点分析的基础上，从字、词、语篇三个层面阐述了那些容易造成翻译困难或在翻译中容易出现错误的部分的翻译处理方式。其次，针对新闻发布会中政治辞令的口译，本文从功能对等理论出发，从词汇和语义的角度进行了分析和阐述。
研究结果表明奈达的功能对等理论在应用于政府工作报告和外交新闻发布会两种不同的政治文体翻译时，可以使译文与原文的意思更加贴切、一致。

Title A Study on the Translation of Political Language from the Perspective of Functional Equivalence Theory
Abstract
This thesis is a research intended to explore the effective ways in translation of political language from the perspective of functional equivalence theory proposed by Nida. Taking government report and press conference as examples, the thesis is trying to effectively solve the problems in translation of political language. First, the thesis introduces the content and classification of political language with a detailed analysis of function and stylistic features of government work report and Foreign news conference. Second, in the process of analyzing the stylistic features, the thesis emphasizes the difficulties and errors in the translation of political language. Last, under the guidance of functional equivalence, the thesis analyzes the interpretation of political language in government press conference from lexical and semantic perspective.
The research findings show that functional equivalence theory can be all appropriate and useful guidance in national Government Work Report and press conference translation, for it can make the translated text achieve the closest natural equivalent to the original text.

1 Introduction
National Government Work Report and government press conference are typical of political language. A good translation of political language helps to promote the relationship and strengthen the mutual understanding between two nations. Different from language in literature and commercial documents, political language has its unique stylistic features. This thesis starts from the stylistic features of political language, focuses on the translation in national Government Work Report and press conference interpretation under the guidance of functional equivalence. The main focus of the paper lies in pointing out the applying of equivalence in written translation and oral interpretation.
