1. Introduction
It is wildly acknowledged that Rebecca can be regarded as the masterpiece of Daphne du Maurier, which “has been outstanding at six levels of entertainment: as a best-selling novel, a radio series, a Hollywood motion picture, a stage play, a television series and even as an opera.”(Homer and Zlosnik, 1974:71) Some critics argue that it is interacted with her real life and it also provokes various studies from a perse range of perspectives.
