Another part of culture was American Dream, which was the ideal of getting better life through personal efforts, including hard work, courage, creativity, and determination, without the help of some particular social classes and the assistance of others. Wang Wanru mentioned that immigrants, who fought for their own benefits, tended to real in “Beijingers in New York and American Dream” (2010). When you are really successful, they sincerely wish you success; but when you fail, nobody cares, cause they went near the other successful people (Hao, 2014).
