    Abstract Since the reform and opening up, China began to join in the wave of economic globalization. Therefore, English becomes the indispensable tool in international communication and social life.

    Especially the implementation of quality-educated, the schools and teachers pay more and more attention to the teaching of oral English. In order to construct a good learning atmosphere for the students, and to achieve better teaching results, many teachers will adopt bilingual teaching in the class after the students’ English proficiency has reached a certain level. However, due to the limitations of very young children’s cognitive level and the boring or difficult teaching content, students are often unable to concentrate in class and the expected teaching results cannot be achieved.49272

    One of the key points for young children to learn English well is to improve their interests in learning English. The most popular and effective way to make children be interested in English is introducing songs and ballads in teaching. Karl Heinrich Marx said, “Music is the second language of the mankind.” The ballads and songs are loved by children for their features of simple words, vivid content, active form and beautiful rhythm. In the course of teaching, teachers can create a lively and pleasant, relaxing and harmonious language atmosphere by using featured ballads or songs, promote the progress of learning by using songs and educational entertainments, so that we can get a better teaching result.

    摘要自改革开放后,中国开始投身经济全球化的浪潮中,因此,英语成为了国际交往和社会生活中必不可缺的交流工具。

    尤其是素质教育的推行,使得学校和老师越发重视英语口语的教学,为了给学生们营造良好的口语学习氛围,达到更好的教学效果,在学生英语水平达到一定程度后,很多教师会在课堂上采用双语教学。然而,由于低龄儿童认知水平的限制,教学内容的单一无趣或过难,会导致学生往往在课堂上无法集中精神,预期的教学效果无法达到。

    对于低龄的孩子来说,学好英语的关键之一就是提高孩子们英语学习的兴趣。想要让孩子对英语感兴趣,最普遍、最有效的方式就是在教学中引入歌谣或歌曲。马克思说:“音乐是人类第二语言。”歌曲及歌谣因其词句简单、内容生动、形式活泼、韵律优美等特点深受孩子们的喜爱。在教学中,教师利用富有特色的英语歌谣或歌曲来教学,能给孩子们营造一个活泼愉快、宽松和谐的语言氛围,以歌促学、寓教于乐,这可以使我们的教学收到更佳的效果。
