1. Introduction
The most significant thing in life is emotion. In the society which is of overwhelming abundance of material wealth and increasingly powerful science and technology, the state of human emotion has been paid growing attention. It can support human cooperation and communication in daily life. Besides, it can provide assistance to the whole society’s imagination and creativity.
With the development of psycholinguistics, people come to realize that the emotional factors are closely related to foreign language learning. The efficiency of learning foreign language does not only depends on cognitive learning, but also depends on affective factors during the process of learning. However, there still exists a kind of imblance between more cognitive teaching and less affective teaching in primary school. Teachers pay attention to students’ acceptance of cognitive knowledge, but they neglect students’ emotional problems. In this way, students’ interest and motivation cannot be developed. What’s worse, they may not get along with other students or teachers. This paper focuses on the application of emotional education in primary school.
