Abstract English classroom teaching plays a significant role in English teaching in Primary school。 Successful English classroom teaching is expected to create a situation relevant to teaching content, so that students can acquire English knowledge by experiencing language in a near authentic situation。 However, the improper classroom situation design will probably result in the failure to carry out the classroom teaching activities。 To make it worse, it may even make students become less interested in English learning。 Based on the theory of situational teaching method, this paper analyzes deficits in current situation design in primary school English classroom teaching, combines the features of situation design and practical classroom teaching, puts forward some advice for successful situation design and expects to offer some references to improve effects of primary school English teaching and learning。74469

摘要小学英语课堂教学是小学生学习英语的一个十分重要的环节。成功的英语课堂教学应当在课上创设与教学内容相应的情境,使学生能够在类似真实的情景中体验学习英语语言。然而,如果课堂情境设计得不合理,不仅课堂教学活动无法顺利开展,学生无法积极投入课堂活动,甚至会导致学生对英语学习失去兴趣。鉴于此,本文以情境教学法为理论基础,分析了小学英语课堂中情境教学中情景设计存在的问题、结合情景设计的特点及教学实况,对小学英语课堂教学的情景设计提出了几点建议,以期待对提高小学英语教学有一定的借鉴意义。

1。 Introduction
English as one of the most widely used languages in the world, has become a significant tool for international communication, cultural and technical exchanges。 Apparently, English is playing a more and more important role in contemporary society, since it is the most used working language。 Therefore, our country began to set up English course from the compulsory education stage, which not only can improve the overall national quality, but also can lay foundations for international competitiveness and communication ability of the country。 The main purpose of learning English is to learn to communicate with people in English。 In primary school English learning stage, teachers’ main task is to stimulate learners’ interest in learning English, so that they can be confident enough in learning English。 Moreover, it is expected to guide children to develop good learning habit and effective learning strategies, and gradually develop their English thinking ability。 In this process, only in the real language environment or simulated situations, can students organize thinking more effectively, and further understand the language materials and information, so as to maintain their interest in English。
