Abstract The Fast and the Furious 7, an American Hollywood blockbuster, was released in China in April 12th, 2015。 It gained considerable popularity among the Chinese audience and proved to be a box-office smash in China。 However, due to the language barrier, most Chinese audience have to depend on the Chinese subtitles to enjoy the film。 In this sense, an appropriate subtitle translation is of great significance。 Eco-translatology, based on Darwin’s “natural selection” and “survival for the fittest”, is a new translation theory proposed by Professor Hu Gengshen from Qinghua University。 It defines the translational eco-environment as a system of the source language, the source text and the target language and claims that translation is a process of the translator’s adaptation and selection to the translational eco-environment。 The thesis tries to analyze the subtitle translation of the film The Fast and the Furious 7 from  the perspective of Eco-translatology, with the focus on the selection and adaptation from linguistic, cultural and communicative dimensions，hoping to make an exploration on the application of Eco-translatology in film subtitle translation。 75187

摘要美国好莱坞大片《速度与激情7》于2015年4月12日在中国上映，深受中国观众喜爱，并且十分卖座。然而由于语言障碍，大部分中国观众只能依靠汉语字幕来欣赏这部电影， 因此贴切的电影字幕翻译就显得尤为重要。生态翻译学由清华大学教授胡庚申提出，是以达尔文生物进化论中的“自然选择”，“适者生存”为基石的翻译理论。该理论将翻译生态环境视为一个包含源语、原文和译语的系统，而翻译就是译者适应翻译生态环境的选择活动。译者要在翻译过程中把握好语言维、文化维和交际维的三维转换。本文拟从生态翻译学视角，剖析电影《速度与激情7》字幕翻译，重点从语言维、文化维及交际维三个方面探究该电影字幕翻译过程中的适应性选择与转换,以期对生态翻译学用于电影字幕翻译做一点探索。
