2。1 The early studies abroad
The early studies of classroom atmosphere abroad are mainly from the perspective of behaviourism, humanism and subconsciousness。
During the 1920-30s, the behaviourists have payed attention to the classroom atmosphere from the perspective of behaviourism。 When explored the emotional problems, the traditional psychology considered introspection as the basic research methods。
Since 1950s, educational humanization and human potential have advocated。 Classroom atmosphere research also reflected this purpose。 The ideological system of humanism was based on the phenomenological method of construction, which emphasized the human potential and value。 According to this view, the key of personality development were the formation and development of the correct self-concept。 Therefore, teachers should become a facilitator。 The key of teaching is not knowledge but the formation of a good psychological atmosphere。 Teachers should create a sense of security in the classroom atmosphere。 A security atmosphere is relaxed, cooperative and warm, which can be the important factors to determine the effectiveness of educational work。
Subconsciousness means hint。 Theory of hint methodology emphasizes the importance of reason, logic and consciousness。 However, it leaves out instinct, emotion and the deviation of subconsciousness。 Theory of hint methodology is accutually creating a kind of external environment to stimulate the subconscious, which creates a specific environment for teaching with a scientific basis of human’s characteristics, needs, functions and psychological potential。
