And the goal of task-based oral English teaching class in the new curriculum is to cultivate students’ thinking ability that students could reflect on in a creative way and learn how to solve some practical problems。 The goal is difficult to achieve if the brainstorming method can’t be well applied。 Under this requirement, the study of brainstorming method on English teaching class in junior middle school is necessary。 And teachers can achieve the teaching objection in the task-based oral English in junior middle school not only the score requirement but also their student practical learning ability。
This paper analyzes the current situation of oral English teaching in junior middle school and the application in the task-based oral English teaching in junior middle school。 And it concludes five parts。 Chapter one is mainly talking about the importance of applying the brainstorming method in the task-based oral English in the middle school。 It also describes the current situation of applying this method in the task-based oral English class and the disadvantages of this method in previous researches。 Chapter two is about the feasibility of the brainstorming method。 And it includes an overview and the situation of applying brainstorming method。 Chapter three is about the implementation of the brainstorming method and mainly introduces scientific research ability in the task-based oral English teaching。 And teachers learn the importance to solve the problem in a reasonable way。 Chapter four is talking about the significance of implementing brainstorming method in task-based oral English teaching。 This method benefits students in cultivating their pergent thinking ability, learning initiative and critical thinking ability。 Chapter five is the conclusion and the enlightenment of the paper。
II。 An Overview of Brainstorming Method
The word of Brainstorming refers to the psychiatric patients’ minds thinking disorder phenomenon in a short time when the patient producers a large number of imaginings。 Later American creationists A· F· Osborn, an American scientist, borrows it to describe thinking highly active, break traditional ways of thinking, and produce the massive creative idea of concept, established brainstorming method。 Brainstorming method as a kind of relatively commonly used method which motive collective creative thinking, has been more and more used in teaching practice。 Brainstorming method applied in the teaching the specific way is: the teacher raise questions, then encourage students to find out as much ideas as possible。 Teacher needn’t consider the answer is correct or not, and also don’t comment until all possibility carried out。 Brainstorming, adopted by the relevant experts, happen at an open discussion environment where a better option is collected together and a quality of group decisions come into being (Research on Brainstorming Method as a Teaching Method 4-52)。
2。1 The Current Situation of Brainstorming Teaching
This part mainly discuss applying brainstorming method on the task-based oral English teaching class in junior middle school at first and then analyses the applying situation of brain storming method。 But this new method is a double-edged sword when it is applied into English teaching class in junior middle school。 On the one hand, the advantage of the brainstorming method is helpful to produce a creative thinking。 Because the positive feature of this method is drawing learners to open their minds。 Under a free circumstance, students are easy to put forward a series of different new ideas in the discussion collision。 And the aim of the application of the brainstorming method in middle school is paying student attention on the group activities and stimulating all students’ inspiration。 Only do they participate in group activities, will recognize that they are having a common value and contribution to the society。 On the other hand, the disadvantage of the application of this method is producing an excessive open and aimless thinking。 The reason is that it is limited by the student cognitive competence and the degree of students’ preparation on the relevant topic。 Although brainstorming method has so much internal value in middle school, the attention which we pay to it is still insufficient, and research to it is relatively weak。 Therefore, it is necessary to brainstorming method on a system, more detailed study, to provide a selection of teaching methods for teachers in middle school (Zhang 4)。文献综述
