Abstract The design is for a large single-span steel plant in Taiyuan area with steel frame structure, track top elevation is 21m, construction area reaches 120
× 36 = 4320m2。 Design elements including architectural design, structure selection and overall arrangement, loads calculation, internal force calculation and combination, frame column design, construction drawings and so on。 Selecting a pin of frame as the calculation unit。 Based on Hand calculations, using structural mechanics solver for internal force calculation and review。 In this design, I took fully apply of the steel structure design, AutoCAD drawing software, Microsoft word document editing software, and document retrieval, etc。
