I for the production process design optimization, such as the use of the fourth or the fifth generation with high efficiency and selectivity of Ziegler catalyst, can directly get performance close to the granulation of the spherical polypropylene granules, even without granulation can direct from the factory, specific process for catalyst preparation, raw material propylene refining, pre polymerization, polymerization, flash, degassing, steaming, drying, extrusion granulation, homogenization, packaging and warehousing. Material balance is the calculation of the material of the material in and out of the plant. It is concluded that each step of the polymer engineering is in demand and obtained. So is the heat balance.. Regarding the equipment selection, this design uses the related equipment selection strictly according to the design need, and one part of the equipment model carries on the customization. Though, the current world polypropylene by gas phase process such as Innovene, Novolen, Unipol technology has very big development potential, but because of technology import of high cost, less domestic device operating experience and product range is relatively narrow, do not accord with the purpose of this design. Sumitomo process and Horizone technology with the gas phase method technology is relatively similar, are excluded. The Hypol process, the reaction system is too complex, process design and investment is high, do not consider. Borstar process development time is shorter, can be drawn lessons from the domestic experience too little, also be to give up. Spherizone process is currently the most advanced polypropylene production process, at the same time also faces many technical problems need to conquer the contradiction.
    According to produce 3 00000 tons of polypropylene polymerization process design section of the layout design of the workshop, the workshop features rectangular double workshop. Workshop size (length x width x height) is 30m x 25m x 15m. Rectangular shop easy to make the whole plant general layout, save land, convenient equipment arrangement, there are more walls provided to natural lighting and ventilation design and use. The factory’s location is according to natural geographical features, transportation conditions, water and power supply conditions, construction conditions and workers residential conditions and other principles for optimization. Working days of the design are 290 days and working hours are about 7000 hours.
    This design also gives full consideration to the safety and environmental protection issues.
