The Empirical Research of the Social Influence of the International Conferences
Abstract: With the rapid development of science and technology as well as industrial society, the meeting industry has made significant contribution to stimulate international exchange and mutual benefit among different countries since we paced into information age. Since recent years, the meeting industry in China has boomed. Shanghai, as one of the most important commercial, financial, trade and port cities in China even Asia and the Pacific, has the conditions of developing international conferences market. This paper intends to do deep exploration upon the social influence of the venue of the international conference, the attitude of human being, and the difference between result and current literature, providing a theoretical basis to the control of the social impact of major events.
