The thesisi includes:

（1）Motion control system overall plan selection: mobile library automatic access device USES motion control system composed of industrial PC and movement controller, its price is low, the development speed is fast, with the aid of computer implementation of the motion controller motion control, industrial computer can effective use of computer system hardware and software resources, extend the functionality of the motion control

（2）Device's motion control system hardware design and type selection: library books automatic access device movement control system hardware in addition to the industrial PC and GE - 800 - PV motion controller, including sensors, stepper motor, stepper motor drive, card reader, camera and power supply such as model selection

（3）Motion control system control algorithm and program: using the programming tool Visual Basic 6.0 to book automatically access three-axis motion control of manipulator and book automatically access the actuator at the end of the manipulator control reasonably simple programming。

1.1 本课题研究的目的和意义

随着信息技术特别是计算机技术的发展，各大公共图书馆和高校图书馆的很多工作都应用计算机进行管理。如文献检索、图书借还、分编、期刊借阅等等。尽管电子图书的发展代替了不少传统纸质图书，但纸质图书仍是电子图书无法代替的，因此，纸质图书的管理仍然是图书馆工作的重点之一。在现如今信息化的时代中，大多图书馆都很少配备机械化和自动化类的智能装置。各种各样的工作在图书馆中被自动化和智能化，能够从根本上降低图书馆理人员的劳动强度也能提高他们的工作效率。所以，能够有效整合信息技术和自动化技术的一个重要发展趋势是未来图书馆的目标。
