The Observation on the Stomata Index of Wheat in Different Growth Periods
Abstract: The function of stoma in plants is to exchange gases and water with the outside world, adjust transpiration and photosynthesis and other important physiological processes in plants. In this study, scotch tape and agarose imprinting methods were used to identify length, width, stomatal density and stomatal index at "Zhoumai.19", "Zhoumai.22", "Hebeitriticale" and "Zhoutriticale.1".The text data was analyzed and the results showed the differences of stomata length, stomata width, stomatal density and stomatal index are not significant in the four wheat varieties selected. Leaf stomata arranged in a certain direction and is parallel to the vein. The stomatal density of leaf base is greater than the middle part of leaf, the middle part of leaf is greater than the leaf apex. Leaf stomatal density of the wheat is increasing from leaf midrib to the blade margin.
