On film and television drama product placement
Abstract:Since the 1920s, product placement started to appear in movies and TV series as a new form of advertisement, which till now has already had a history of nearly one hundred years. It is even more widely used now, but also comes with many problems in its application. This essay takes product placement in movies and TV series as the object of the study, introducing its definition and concretely analyzes its advantages compared with traditional advertisement. As for the problems in its development, this essay also puts forward some corresponding solutions, aiming to promote its development in movies and TV series.
