Abstract Language acquisition theory holds that body language plays an indispensable role in primary school English teaching。 Teachers therefore should adopt this approach as an integral part of classroom instruction。 A rational but flexible use of body languages may improve teaching efficiency and inspire student learning throughout the teaching process and teacher-student communication。 This thesis explores the significance of body language in English education and conducts case study of the application of body language to English education in the primary school。92353

摘要 肢体语言在小学英语教学中起着不可替代的作用,用肢体语言来辅助教师进行英语教学是小学英语课堂中师生交流的重要方式之一。教师灵活、合理、恰到好处地运用肢体语言,不仅能帮助学生理解,提高教学效率,而且容易激发学生的学习兴趣,贯穿课堂教学,促进师生交流。本文将通过肢体语言在小学英语教育中的应用来研究肢体语言对小学英语教育的重要性及意义。

In our society, social relations are based on communication between people。 The relationship between teachers and students is also belong to this category。 English for children is a new language and also as a language lesson to let the students know how to communicate with each other。 In primary school English teaching, teachers must arouse the students' interest in learning and make them learn better。 Primary school English curriculum is a language discipline to arouse students' interest, help students establish initial confidence in learning English, cultivate students' English language sense and the good pronunciation, intonation, initially formed to carry on the simple daily communication in English and to lay a good foundation for further learning。 In the teaching ability, comprehensive teaching skills emphasize the importance of body language。 It emphasizes that primary school English teachers should make full use of body language with rich expression and coordinated action to express meaning, or emotion。 English teachers in teaching must give full play to their skills, to enhance the infection of language。 The pattern and view of body language, as the understanding of people, are through our posture, gestures, body distance and the subtle changes in the facial expressions。 It's important that we transfer news and knowledge through body language。 Body language is created by nonverbal symbols and is much more than the meaning of the arm action, it refers to any parts of the body movement。

 This thesis aims to discuss application of body language in primary school English education。 It analyzes the current situation of primary school English teaching, finds out the obstacles to improve students’ English study。 The body language process is the implementation of the new teaching ideas and teaching mode of practice process。 This article starts from the definition of body language of education and primary school English situation, combined with the advantage of body language, through the application in English teaching fields to describe the benefits of body language in primary school English teaching。
