Abstract With the continuous development of society and the reform of basic education, the current society attaches more importance to teachers’ professional quality。 Teaching practice is a key part of the whole pre-service education, which functions as an important bridge for pre-service teachers to grow into very professional teachers。 So, paying more attention to this period is essential to improve the quality of pedagogical education。 Based on the current background, this paper mainly analyzes the influence teaching practice has on the professional development of pre-service English teachers, finding that the teaching practice plays an irreplaceable role on the improvement of the professional ability, the consolidation of the professional knowledge and the formation of professional thought。 Meanwhile, based on some previous studies and the internship experiences some pre-service English teachers had, this paper generalizes and summarizes some problems existing in the current teaching practice system, and makes a preliminary analysis。 94001

摘要随着社会的不断发展和基础教育的深化改革,社会对教师素质的要求越来越高。 作为职前教育的重要一个组成部分,教育实习成为职前教师成长为专业教师的一个重要的桥梁,更多关注教育实习阶段对提高师范教育质量至关重要。在这一时代背景下,本文简要分析了教育实习对职前英语教师专业发展的影响,发现教育实习在提高职前英语教师专业能力、专业知识、专业思想等方面具有不可替代的作用。同时,基于以往研究以及师范生自身的实习经历,本文概括总结了一些存在于当前实习机制的问题并对其进行了初步的分析。

With the rapid development and extension of education, English teachers’ quality and competence become the key factors of education development and reform。 English teachers’ professional development gradually becomes the focus of educational and teaching research which greatly promotes the new theories and systems of education。 So, we cannot pay enough attention to the dynamic roles of English teachers in the school system。 Meanwhile, teaching practice is a key component of any educational system charged with the education and training of English teachers to acquire the competences and skills of teaching for improvement in the quality of them for the school system。 (Ajeyalemi 3-5) It is a special period of education which is properly planned and systematically tailored and applied for the cultivation of those who teach or will teach。 Thus, a normal school student cannot turn into a professional English teacher without exposing himself or herself to adequate practical preparation through teaching practice。 So, this paper aims to study the effects of teaching practice has on the professional developments of pre-service English teachers。
