The student is the subject of information education and the main body of learning. MOOC teaching is helpful to exert students’ main body status in teaching activity.
Only through the students can the teaching methods work. The contents of MOOC should satisfy the students’ requirements and stimulate the students’ learning desire. The novel and unique contents attract the students’ attention, and inspire the students to participate in the learning tasks. In this process, students experience a sense of accomplishment, satisfaction through learning and answer questions, thus it further arouse their curiosity and form a virtuous circle of mental activity.
The MOOC teaching helps to cultivate students’ ability of autonomous learning. In MOOC teaching, students can control their learning process and learning direction on the basis of the existing cognitive structure, and complete the construction of relevant knowledge, thus enhancing the ability of autonomous learning and benefiting the implementation of personalized learning for students.
