摘 要作为组织教学活动的工具,教师话语不仅是指导学生课堂行为的重要方式,也是进行目标与输入的载体。越来越多的研究人员意识到英语学习者的交际能力的重要性。当前,我国对英语教师课堂话语的研究还没有形成较全面的理论体系,而对小学英语教师课堂话语的研究更是寥寥无几。因此本文运用调查的方法,运用言语行为理论,尝试从语用学角度分析小学英语教师话语的策略及功能,试图找到完善小学英语教师课堂话语实效性的途径,并对其中存在的不足提出建议,为促进小学英语教学事业发展做出贡献。83223

Abstract As a tool of organizing teaching activities, teachers’ discourse is not only a significant way of conducting students’ classroom behaviors but also is a carrier of language input。 A growing number of researchers have been aware of the importance of communicative competence to English learners。 However, these researches seem to stay in general description of teachers’ discourse or the collection of the relevant materials。 Until now, little systematic study is conducted on the primary English teachers’ discourse。 So the article uses the method of investigation。 In this paper, teachers’ discourse is analyzed in terms of the Speech Act Theory。 And the paper analyzes the strategies and function of primary school English teachers’ discourse from a pragmatic point of view。 The author is trying to find the ways to improve the effectiveness of English teachers’ discourse in primary school and to give some suggestions on how to solve the problems existing in primary education of our country。 All of those make some contribution to improve the quality of primary English education。

The Pragmatic Analysis on Teachers’ Discourse in the Primary English Classroom

I。 Introduction

Discourse refers to the language used in application。 And classroom discourse is the discourse which is produced during teaching, including students’ discourse and teachers’ discourse。 The discourse used by teachers to arrange and carry out classroom teaching is regarded as classroom discourse as well。 The English teachers’ discourse in primary school is not only the target language learned by students, but also the intermediate language used between teachers and students。 Hence, discourse expression and organizing ability of primary school English teachers have an important effect upon students’ language acquisition and accomplishment of teaching targets。 Therefore, there are more and more attentions have been paid on the researches of primary school English teachers’ classroom discourse。 Discourse analysis studies about how people communicate with others which include spoken and written and structured so that it socially appropriate and linguistically accurate。
