摘要鸟虫篆印起源于春秋战国时期,盛行于两汉,又在明清时期得到继承与复兴。鸟虫篆印的观赏性和他与众不同的艺术性在春秋战国时期即被人重视,但在两汉之后由于汉字的书写逐渐趋向于快速与便捷,篆书也从实用书体文字中渐渐淡出,篆书一度受到冷落,但到了明清时期,鸟虫篆印又得到了继承与发展。鸟虫篆印的线条流美与质朴并存,结构追求饱满,雍容华贵,章法同样在平正中见奇绝,鸟虫篆印之所以可以一直流传都归功于它自身独特的艺术性,古朴,流美,自然,雍容等等不同的艺术面貌又让它流露层出不穷的观赏力,所以我们在创作鸟虫篆印时也感受到它变幻莫测的艺术风貌。49225

一 鸟虫书和鸟虫篆印
从广义上去定义:鸟虫书是一种不影响该字的字音和字义的基础上,在以基本篆书造型的前提上设计审美理念改变基本的篆书笔画线条形质,使之方圆兼备,弯曲变形如鸟虫之形,或者在原有的篆书线条上增加鸟形,虫形等各样的装饰,以审美的最终目的,形成一种繁琐现象的书体。
鸟虫书的起源虽尚无定论,但从有关文献认为最早出现于商代,董作宾于《殷代的鸟书》 中,认为在殷商时期出现了鸟虫篆,并且用:“玄妇方壶”器铭,以及甲骨文卜辞“高祖王亥”为佐证,苏莹辉于《论先秦时期以鸟篆铭兵的动机》一文中也说道:
“西周以后,鸟虫篆逐渐兴起,但在殷商时代已经萌芽,战国时期达到鼎盛。战国时期鸟虫篆的表现形式已经出现变化,主要流行于吴、越、楚三国。由殷商时代铭器上仅仅个别出现的鸟形装饰,变成了一种兵器的专属文字。”
