摘要本论文旨在通过收集并比较不同学者对汉语称谓性敬语的定义和分类,来归纳出最实用的一种。在此基础上,总结外国学生在学习汉语称谓性敬语学习中容易出现的偏误,并加以分类归纳。同时,本论文通过对比分析汉英称谓语的差异,并研究外国学生在汉语敬语学习中受母语的影响,整理前人在汉语敬语教学中采用的教学方法,来总结出最适合汉语称谓性敬语教学的模式。最终,本论文得出结论——活动式的教学方法最适宜运用到敬语教学中,使得学生能结合情景掌握语言,另外对如何避免学生在学习过程中产生偏误提出了自己改进的意见。22882

Title The Analysis of Biased Error Made By Native English Speakers in Learning Chinese Honorific
—— Taking the Mother-tongue Interference towards Appellative Honorific Learning as an Example
Abstract
In this essay, the author tries to settle most predecessors’ classification towards appellative honorific, and summarize the most typical one, and then review the findings and theories that have been achieved. In the meaning time, three frequently-used teaching methods are tested to find out the best one in honorific teaching. And each branch of appellative honorific would be compared and analyzed on the bases of theories. The biased errors has been found and summed up during students’ appellative honorific learning. Then, the author has analyzed how the mother-tongue interference impact foreign people’s Chinese learning and has proposed the possible errors. Finally, the author gets the conclusion that the activity method is the most proper way to teach honorific. And appellative honorific should be taught in particular scene so that the meaning would be easier to be understood. Then some suggestions would be listed for the teaching process.

1. Introduction
1.1 Background
Teaching Chinese as a second language(TCSL) has become an increasingly sought-after course. During the development of TCSL, there are many predecessors having made achievements in the comparison between Chinese and English honorifics. But seldom have they drawn attention to study the theories of Chinese honorific learning. This thesis is aimed to focus more on honorific learning. Through this thesis, the author wants to analyze which biased errors the native English speakers would make when they learn Chinese honorific and why these errors would happen. In the end of the thesis, an effective way would be proposed to correct those errors.
