Anyone can’t deny the importance of property in the marriage。 In the marriage, as time goes by, the love between couples will turn into a kind of firmer kinship。 The love is romantic while the marriage is realistic。 Generally speaking, after marriage, the romantic love will gradually recedes, and the couples have to confront the daily necessities。 In China, we call them: firewood, rice, cooking, oil, salt, soy-bean sauce, vinegar and tea。 For example, in the modern society, many couples bear the house payment, even the car payment。 In many cases, the couples can’t endure the trials of life though they love each other deeply。 As a result, too much financial pressure becomes the blasting fuse of porce。 As the Chinese proverb goes: “Nothing goes well to a destitute couple”。 Moreover, we often hear the words “unattended child”。 In China, it has become a prominent social problem。 Many factors contribute to this problem, but the main reason is that many parents have not enough money to raise their families。 They have to go out for non-farming job。 Many unattended children without guidance from parents end up with troubled youths。 Consequently, although the romantic love is very important in the marriage, the marriage without the financial guarantee may well break down。 Therefore, the property plays a very important role in the marriage。

     “The marriage without love is immoral。”(Engels 78) Throughout the novel, Pride and Prejudice, we can find the opinion that love is the basis of perfect marriage。 By comparing the four different marriages, we can find this。
