Nowadays, with the development of the technology and the accelerated process of Globalization, English, as an international means of communication, is becoming more and more important。 And with the deepening of the reform of English teaching, the cultivation of students' creative thinking ability has been put to an important position。 To use English comprehensively, we should combine the four means, including Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing。 However, if we want to master a foreign language and understand the politics, economy, culture of the foreign country, we should put Listening and Writing in place。 The process of Writing runs through the learning of an foreign language。 Writing is an indispensable factor in successful English learning。 Creative writing is the basis of creative thinking ability。 With the development of our social economy, all walks demand the Strong normative official documents and the Frequency of use is much higher than before。“In addition, the English learners have become younger and younger。 English has become a compulsory subject in Middle school for a long time。” (Chunmei Long, Zhu Ming and Liping Chen 136) The student who can carry out all kinds of official documents writing and practical writing has become one of the government and many enterprises and institutions' requirements。 In view of this situation, there have been many scholars writing on practical writing。 (Ruoliang 04) Therefore, studying the writing problems in which middle school students may emerge can help us learn the process of English writing and creative thinking ability well。 In today’s society, the spread and renovation of knowledge requires us to create constantly。 But nowadays, more and more students are having various problems in English writing。 The most important one is that today’s students are short of creative thinking ability that is the crystallization of a variety of thinking development。 Creative thinking ability plays an important role in the cultivation of the talented person。 It is a kind of creative thinking process that is to discover new problems, put forward new problems and solve new problems originally。 However, today’s middle school students and teachers are short of creative thinking ability, particularly in the teaching and learning of English writing。 So this passage starts with the current situation of middle school students’ writing and analyses what lead to the situation。 Then three ways to solve the problems are put up in the passage in order to stimulate students creative thinking and improve their writing ability。 Through the study of the current situation of middle school students’ writing, we can combine the creative thinking ability and English writing。 At last, middle school students’ English writing ability will be improved。 And their creative thinking ability will be beneficial to them in the future。
