摘  要土地是人类社会生存和发展的基础，土地利用的根本目的在于满足人类社会经济发展的需要。而耕地又是土地的精华。人多地少的基本国情要求我们必须十分珍惜和合理利用每一寸土地，切实保护耕地。另一方面，城市化是人类社会经济发展的必由之路，是现代化的重要标志。而在城市化进程中不可避免地要占用一部分耕地。

本文主要研究了城市化进程中城市化水平与耕地面积变化的关系。在界定城市化的定义、城市化水平测度指标的基础上，采用1984年到2013年河南省的统计数据，运用相关系数和回归分析模型对河南省城市化水平与耕地面积的关系进行了分析。74490

结果表明：城市化水平与耕地面积之间存在着显著的相关关系。在城市化初期，由于经济建设的需要，不可避免地要占用一部分耕地，导致耕地面积减少；但随着城市化水平的不断提高，耕地面积的减少趋势会被逐渐扼制。因此，在城市化初期应注重耕地保护，合理规划城市土地；而在高度城市化阶段，应加强土地集约利用，保持耕地总量平衡。

Study on the Relationship between Urbanization Level and the Change of Cultivated Land Area A Case Study of Henan Province

Abstract Land is the foundation of survival and development of human society。 The basic purpose of land utilization is to meet the needs of human social and economic development。 And the cultivated land is the essence of the land。 The fundamental situation of our country is a big population with little land, which requires us to cherish and use every inch of the land rationally, and protect the cultivated land effectively。 On the other hand, urbanization is the only way for the development of human society and economy as well as a significant symbol of modernization。 While in the process of urbanization, it is inevitable to take up a part of the arable land。 

The relationship between the level of urbanization and the change of cultivated land area in the process of urbanization has been studied in this paper mainly。 The relationship between urbanization level and the cultivated area of Henan Province has been analyzed by the correlation coefficient and regression analysis model。

It was showed that there is a significant correlation between urbanization level and cultivated land area。 In the early urbanization stage, due to the need of economic construction, it is inevitable to take up a part of the land, which leads to a decrease of the cultivated area。 But with the continuous improvement of the level of urbanization, the tendency of arable land area decreasing will be gradually suppressed。 On the contrary, the area even will increase。 Therefore, in the early stage of urbanization, more attention should be paid to the protection of cultivated land, reasonably planning for urban land and we should strengthen the intensive use of land to maintain the balance of the total amount of arable land in the accelerating urbanization stage。
