Research on the Branding Phenomenon of TV Entertainment Program Hosts in Mainland of China
Abstract:In recent years, with the continuous development of China’s TV industry, types of TV programs are also constantly increasing. TV entertainment program enjoys great popularity among audience because it can provide entertainment for the public, and this was accompanied by a large number of outstanding television hosts. They gradually form their own unique hosting style and create a good brand image, thus enhance the brand recognition of the program. In the development process of hosts branding, there exist some problems, for example, lack of the brand hosts of new generation, lack of personal accomplishments and serious pan-entertainment phenomenon of program. In this regard, We should promote the brand construction, create personalized hosting style and establish some reasonable mechanism of competition, in order to strengthen persification of hosting styles, promote the television style, enhance the influence of TV channels, thus promote the healthy and rapid development of TV entertainment program.
