1。 Introduction 

     English is the most widely accepted language in the world, the development of English in China is very important 。 As a vital part of college courses, English learning is not only relevant to the growth and development of college students themselves, but also related to the comprehensive development of society。 Whether college students are aware of autonomous learning is the most important cause for English learning, but college students generally are weak in that now。 So those who are trapped in English learning also are incomputable。 Perhaps most of them didn't realize what autonomous learning is, or how to promote the productivity of autonomous learning。 Although someone can do autonomous learning well, the factors influencing autonomous learning also are too much to mention inpidually。 As a result, solving these problems for today's college students cannot be allowed to ignore。

2。 Literature review

2。1 The definition of autonomous learning文献综述

     The concept of self-learning was first proposed by Henri Holec。 He first introduced "autonomous learning" into foreign language teaching in his book "Autonomy and Foreign Language Learning" (1981)。 He argued that self-study was “The ability to be responsible "。 In his book, the learner's ability to cultivate autonomous learning depends on the following three factors: the setting of learning objectives, independent learning behavior and learning assessment。 Dickinson argues that autonomous learning is the ability of learners to make decisions independently and implement language learning activities。 Littlewood argues that autonomous learning includes both desire and ability。 In addition to learning motivation and confidence, learners should develop clear learning objectives and plans, control the learning process, and assess the effectiveness of learning effectively。 Benson & Voller argues that autonomous learning refers to the fact that outside of school education, learners can arrange their own language learning activities, monitor language learning behavior and create opportunities to learn without teacher participation。 In the country, the researchers on the "self-learning" concept of pergent views express their views。 Yu Wensen held that self-learning refers to the learners to dominate their own learning activities, and his main way of learning is very different。 Shu Dingfang held that self-learning had three aspects, including attitudes, abilities and the environment。 Zhang Lixin, Li Xiaoxiang believed that self-learning ability is the ability to use learning strategies。 Zhang Dianyu assumed that self-learning ability is self-learning attitude and ability。 On the basis of learning and research of the above definition, I think that autonomous learning is the initiative of learners to learn。 Learners take the initiative to make learning goals and plans, and then use the appropriate learning strategies to complete self-learning。
