1.2 Significance of the Study
“Etiquette and good manner are very important parts for the relationship-building, social interactions and attitudes will impact business success” (Price, 2014:16). It can standardize business people’s speech and deportment, help to refresh traditional etiquette. As global economy develops so dramatically, Sino-American bilateral relationship has become the world’s focus, which is internationally recognized. Based on a persity of cultures and economy, business people’ s proper behaviors become more and more crucial to successful business communication where the proper use of business etiquette is a key factor. As people from two sides observe different business etiquette, it’s of significance to make a comparison of business etiquette between the two.
