1.3 Research questions
Compared with former research, the thesis emphasizes on the design of teaching tasks, bases on the understanding of the Task-based Language Teaching. And it discusses the principles of designing a teaching task, and gives specific instance to illustrate it, through analyzing the good designing instance, teachers may have a new concept on design, and get better ideas on designing tasks.
The main problems in this thesis are as the following:
Firstly, the conceptual problem. TBLT greatly reflected the student-centered and people-oriented education concept; it can design different task-based activities according to different levels of students. Students can complete the task with their partners. In this way, it greatly mobilize and exert the potential of students, and develop their cognitive strategies .Meanwhile, in the process of completing the task, students experienced the joy of success, and achieved self-worth. And that’s exactly the basic requirements of quality education. Task-based learning enables students to experience the learning process. If the teachers didn’t renew the idea, the value of it will lose.
